"We will not take unilateral decisions in Europe and keep in order public finances," Nikos Pappas, director of the political office of the President of SYRIZA Alexis Tsipras said in statements to Italian newspaper "La Stampa."
In a telephone conversation with journalist Tonia Mastrobuoni, Mr. Pappas also stressed that in case of electoral victory and formation of government on the part of SYRIZA "the Greek state would only spend the money it manages to collect" and that it "will start negotiating with Europe. "
The head of the political bureau of Alexis Tsipras added that the aim of SYRIZA is to guarantee in Europe "a stable government, a sustainable public debt, and an economic development plan."
Finally, the Italian newspaper says that in case of early parliamentary elections, a government of SYRIZA and the Independent Greeks is possible, calculated based on the current poll to assess the voting intention, to build "a narrow majority of around one hundred fifty-three seats '. "Until the elections we believe that our rates will increase," said Nikos Pappas, in his conversation with the Italian journalist.
