Singer pelted with ashtray while performing

According to reports, shortly after three in the morning a customer, who was in high spirits, threw along with the customary carnations an ashtray, injuring the singer on the forehead causing a bloody gash. The band continued to play, as Nikos Economopoulos calmly asked to lower the lights a little and moved to the edge of the stage to understand exactly what had happened.

When he realized what had happened he did not react, or  blame anyone, but instead as a good professional, he said '' I'll leave for a minutes and then return," without of course mentioning the incident. Colleagues took care of his wound, and he came back on stage and continued  his program normally.

However, in the morning he was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons!
