Feline festival to benefit strays

Athenians will have a chance to enjoy a medley of the world’s funniest and most popular cat video clips – while helping to save stray cats’ lives!
On Saturday, March 28, Nine Lives Greece (οι Εφτάψυχες) in collaboration with PurinaONE and the Walker Art Center, USA, presents the Second Annual ‘Internet Cat Video Festival’ at Nixon Bar (61 Agisilaou Street, Keramikos, tel 21 0346 2077). Cat lovers will have a purr-fect chance to enjoy the most popular, hilarious, tender and playful feline internet stars from around the globe, in a 70-minute compilation film.
PurinaONE ambassador and cat-mum Jenny Theona will be introducing the Festival.
Doors open at 3pm; first screening at 4pm, the second at 6pm and the final showing at 8pm. Entry tickets cost 4 euros for adults (2 euros for children), on a first-come, first-served basis.
Come along for a pawesome afternoon of feline fun, enjoying Nixon’s famed brunch menu, bar snacks, coffee, wine or cocktails. Cat souvenirs will be available on sale, as well as goodies for your four-pawed friends courtesy of PurinaONE.
All proceeds from the event directly benefit street cat colonies in Athens, through veterinary care, spaying/neutering and feeding programmes.
