New Democracy: Greece in flames and Tsipras delirious
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Main opposition party spokesman strongly criticized on Thursday Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras for claiming he’s safeguarding Greece’s dignity, saying he as impoverished the people.
"After reducing Greece to poverty and purposely left pensioners waiting in the heat in front of closed banks and in endless queues, [Tsipras] assured us again today he’s the guardian of Greek people’s dignity,” New Democracy spokesman Costas Karagounis said.
“The man who didn’t take care of the country when things were better will take care of it now after turning it into a mess? Greece is in flames and he’s delirious,” he noted.
