SYRIZA, KKE, In. Greeks, Golden Dawn to Vote Against Government
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
SYRIZA launched a scathing attack against the government in parliament, during the first day of discussion of the motion to censure, it tendered.
Interior minister, Yannis Mihelakis, called the SYRIZA proposal "destabilizing and fostering political anomaly."
So far, as has come out of party placements on the issue, SYRIZA, Independent Greeks, the Communist Party (KKE), and Golden Dawn, while the Democratic Left party will simply vote "present."
"The solution will come from outside of parliament," said KKE deputy Aleka Papariga, who added that whether supporting the government's negotiation with troika, or SYRIZA's re-negotiation was a pseudo-dilemma.
Culture minister Panos Panayotopoulos characterized the SYRIZA motion as a mid-stride step that is motivated by the need to cover the sweeping impasses it is facing.
