The Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Marine and Tourism on Wednesday announced the launch of a new national communication campaign, which highlights Greece’s actual image and aims to boost last minute bookings to the country.
The campaign, entitled “Happening Now: #GreekSummer”, is addressed to the European public and will appear mainly through the Internet and social media channels.
Accompanied by special graphics, videos, photos and appealing messages about Greece, “Happening Now: #GreekSummer” will invite the audience to share his and her moments and experiences of the Greek summer.
The campaign will be carried out by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) in collaboration with the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE). The initiative is also expected to be supported by the Greek regions and the whole tourism sector through their communication channels.
