Tsipras: We have a duty to protect the country
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
"We will continue fighting with the same vigor so as not to allow the old regime to return," SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras said at the closing of the two-day proceedings of the party's panhellenic meeting on Sunday.
Tsipras stressed that "we have a duty to protect the country", adding that the old political system is now disguised, presenting itself as a centrist party.
He also expressed his certainty that the Greek people will judge the party positions and programmes and at the same time "will judge and compare the purity, the honesty, and the sincerity."
