Kurdish video on refugee crisis on Kos
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Kos, a Greek island in the Aegean Sea, has become a major transit point for refugees fleeing through Turkey in an attempt to reach Europe, and Kurdish news agency Rudaw reported grom the island.
As reported, Kos locals and tourists are now divided over the refugees’ presence. Some have taken to offering them supplies and toys for children, but others in the business community fear the refugees will drive away tourists and business at a time when Greece is already struggling with an economic crisis.
Rudaw reports from Kos in this video to see how the refugee crisis is affecting locals and tourists.
