EC: Greece committed to programme implementation

The spokeswoman for European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici on Tuesday stressed what she called Greece's strong commitment to implementation of the ongoing programme.
Moscovici is in Athens to evaluate implementation of the Greek programme and to discuss the latest developments over the first package of prior actions with Greek officials.
Annika Breidthardt noted that the evaluation of the prior actions is still underway, but it is expected to be concluded soon. Asked about the disbursement of a 2-billion-euro tranche this week, she said the issue will be discussed at the EuroWorking Group and the Eurogroup.
Regarding the recently completedly "stress tests" on four Greek systemic banks, she said they were "encouraging".
