Debate on bill containing prior actions

The debate over the draft law on the third package of prior actions that the government agreed with the lenders started on Thursday at the parliament plenum
The protection of the first residence and of the special tax on wine dominates the deputies’ positions, with a arge number of SYRIZA and ANEL co-governance deputies have expressed their concern, especially over the second issue.
The main focus of the debate is on foreclosures for mortgages in arrears and tx on wine and spirits. The issue has already caused rifts within the parties forming the governing alliance.
The debate on the draft law, which is held under urgency procedure, is expected to be completed on Thursday night.
