Power utility PPC launches tender for sale of 24 pct in grid operator ADMIE

Public Power Corporation on Tuesday launched an international tender for the sale of a 24 pct equity stake in ADMIE, the Independent Power Transmission Operator, a day after a general shareholders’ meeting approved the board plan.
The invitation to express interest in the tender was posted on PPC’s website and describes the framework and the process of the tender. In a first phase, a selection of candidates will be made and in a second phase binding offers will be submitted.
A strategic investor will be selected based exclusively on its financial offer. A deadline to express interest in the tender ends on July 26, selection will be completed by October 31. HSBC Bank, Citigroup Global Markets and NBG Securities will act as financial advisors to the sale.
