PM Tsipras in Paris for PES meeting

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will start a series of international contacts this week starting on Thursday (August 25), when he will participate in the summit of the Party of European Socialists (PES) in Paris.
On Monday, the French government confirmed that President Francois Hollande will attend a meeting of the European South in Athens at the start of September, initiated by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
“A South Europe meeting will be held at the start of September, which was proposed by the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and which François Hollande accepted,” spokesman Stephane Le Foll said.
