EOPYY doctors on strike until 19 Dec.
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Doctors with the National Organisation for the Provision of Healthcare Services (EOPYY) - the unified healthcare branch of the main Greek social insurance funds, including IKA - have announced that they will continue their strike until December 19.
They did not rule out reconsidering their stance if Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis submitted a proposal on Wednesday for a new dialogue without preconditions and, at the same time, took back his statements concerning layoffs of EOPYY doctors.
They also held a protest rally at noon on Wednesday outside the health ministry.
