ND slams government for tolerating violence outside the Polytechnic
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
New Democracy spokesman Giorgos Koumoutsakos criticized the government on Thursday for its failure to stop the violent protests outside the Athens Polytechnic on Thursday night, when masked individuals hurled petrol bombs, sticks and stones against riot police.
“The government must finally impose order,” Koumoutsakos said. “Contemptible individuals burned the Greek flag. No asylum for those who vandalize the symbols and the property of an entire people.”
