Greek Tourism Minister in Islamic Hijab
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Greek Minister for Tourism Elena Kountoura visited Saudi Arabia as part of Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos’s official visit to the country.
Mrs. Kountoura sat at the official dinner hosted King Salman, while she later had contacts with tourism officials to promote Greek tourism.
During her stay in the capital Riyadh, the Greek Tourism Minister abided by the strict Islamic laws and wore the traditional Islamic garb for women called Hijab.
This is not the first time Mrs Kountoura visited the Gulf state. On her previous trip she also wore the Hijab.
