Indian tycoon marries daughter in lavish ceremony in Athens

A wedding with a Bollywood flavor and a total cost expected to exceed one million euros will pleasantly upset the Athens of the crisis in mid-April. Indian millionaire Karan Israni and his wife Monica (pictured) chose the capital of Greece to marry their daughter Serena to Ntalamal Ramnani, also of Indian origin, in a ceremony expected to make history for its luxury and glamour.
The secrecy that prevails around the wedding is such that very little information has become known. The weddinng will, according to unconfirmed information, last for four days 6, 7, 8 and 9 April, with over 400 guests, and will feature two parties and a wedding reception. Both families reside in London, from where they will arrive along with most of their guests. Grande Bretagne hotel refused to make any comment on the wedding.
Guests will fly in from Britain, India, Africa and America for the happy event, while little has been known about the wedding and the style it will have. Apart from the hotel "King George" which has been booked en masse for four days, the Indian Croesus also booked 150 rooms in the Grande Bretagne, both on Syntagma Square..
