- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The Greek negotiating team, consisting of Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos, Alternate Finance Minister George Chouliarakis and Labor Minister Efi Achtsioglou, is expected to visit Brussels on Tuesday, in an attempt to reach a settlement with the creditors mainly on the pension and labor issues.
In particular, the Greek government will seek a preliminary staff level agreement with the creditors and the IMF before Friday’s informal Eurogroup meeting in Malta.
The financial team will meet with European Commissioner Pierre Moscovici and with Benoît Coeuré, member of the European Central Bank (ECB) Executive Board, with whom it will discuss Greece’s inclusion in the ECB quantitative easing (QE) program.
