Fires in east Attica not threating residents

A fire broke out on Thursday morning in a forest area at Kryoneri, east Attica. The fire is not threatening residential areas for the time being, accodring to the Fire Department.
30 firemen with 10 vehicles, 3 aircrafts and 1 helicopter are trying to put out the blaze but strong winds are hindering their efforts.
Meanwhile a fire that broke out in Oropos eastern Attica, an area with houses, yesterday,was put out late last night.
Firefighting forces focused on Mikrohori, where 40 firemen with 15 vehicles, a 21-member crew on foot, two aircraft and one helicopter put out the blaze, while strong winds are hindering their efforts.
