Prince Charles and Camila Parker on Corfu
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Prince Wales Charles, accompanied by his wife Camila Parker, Duchess of Cornwall arrived at Corfu Airport, "I. Kapodistrias," late Wednesday afternoon
The couple, with the necessary escort, was transferred to the Mayor's Skala (dock), where he boarded a British high-speed boat, and departed to an unknown destination.
The Prince has visited Corfu several times, where he has been hosted away from the public eye at Villa Rothschild in Kerasia.
The Rothschild House is located some 40 kilometers northeast of the city of Corfu and considered one of the most picturesque spots on the verdant holiday island, which lies off extreme northwest Greece.
Corfu is the birthplace of the Prince of Wales' father, Prince Phillip.
