Government appoints minister's dad in newly nationalized organization

The government, having lost all sense of decorum,and not even keeping appearances announced the appointment of Nikos Pappas, the father of the Digital Policy Minister Nikos Pappas, to the post of new chairman of the recently nationalized Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization.
About a placement after a drawing commented main opposition New Democracy alluding to the recent government decision to place school flag beaqrers after a drawing and not according to scholarship and merit.
The announcements were made in Thessaloniki to the former Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Christos Spirtzis in the presentation of the new administration of the Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization, following the government's decision to proceed with its nationalization.
Mr Pappassenior before his appointment was a pensioner. Mr Spirtzis noted that Mr Pappas will not be paid for his services.
