On Wednesday, November 22, 2017, three CH-47D Chinook helicopters and two flight simulators arrived at the port of Piraeus Military Authority, as part of the implementation of a relevant LOA.
The helicopters are being assembled at the port and will fly at their base at Megara Airport.
With the above helicopters, the number of CH-47D Chinook that has been acquired by the Army in the last year from the US Army reserves has reached nine.
The high level of staff training of the Hellenic Army Aviation and its Technical Division guarantee the immediate operational exploitation of the helicopters.
