The rally against the use of the term Macedonia in a new name for FYROM will take place in the center of the Greek capital on February 4 at 14:00.
One of the organizers, reporter Georgia Bitakou, speaking on SKAI TV, said there was an official response from emblematic composer Mikis Theodorakis.
As she said, Mr. Theodorakis confirmed that he would attend the rally, while stressing that he would be one of the speakers.
It is noted that the Coordinating Committee called for Mikis Theodorakis to be a speaker. He pledged to address at least a greeting with a recorded message at the rally in Athens if he did not manage to attend.
Regarding the costs of the event, Ms. Bitakou said they were covered by the Greek community.
