Mayday demonstrations throughout Greece

With the central slogan "Against the exploitation and the imperialist war, for the final victory of the peoples", communist party afiliated union PAME held a great concentration at Syntagma Square, which peaked at noon as the head reached the US Embassy.

"The soldiers are children of the people, they do not have a job outside the borders ", was one of the slogans heard.

GSEE, ADEDY and EKA held their demonstration at Klafthmonos Square, demonstrating, as they stress, "for a fair and sustainable social security system, pensions, benefits, free trade union action, respect for democratic institutions, labor rights and labor conquests."

Also, several Primary Associations assembled at the Archeological Museum for their own strike gathering.
