Tsipras video on how great his deal with FYROM is

Alexis Tsipras uploaded a video on facebook with a conversation with Zoran Zaev on closing the meeting at Prespes.

In fact, Mr Tsipras asks his FYROM counterpart if he knows what Prespes is and then tells him in English that he will be the first Greek Prime Minister to visit Northern Macedonia.

The well-made video starts with images from Prespes and then from the inside of the Maximus Mansion, the PM's office, where the prime minister and his colleagues are sitting.

Alexis Tsipras then calls the Prime Minister of FYROM, whom he has on open channel and asks "Zoran do you know the region of Prespes?" Immediately afterward, he says, "it is Balkans, it is politics, you will face difficulties, I will face difficulties, but one day history will justify us."

At that moment, Zaev says "It's history, I'm very happy my friend."

Then there comes music and Tsipras stops the dialogue in English, but there are subtitles. "The Prespes agreement is a historic moment for the Balkans and our peoples."

A little later, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras again says to Mr. Zaev in English that he is very happy to be the first Greek Prime Minister to visit Northern Macedonia.

Immediately after that, a passage from the Prime Minister's speech followed, and then the scene changes to Prespes and the boats that carried the prime ministers to shake hands for the deal.

Subtitles playing while the video shows festive shots write "A new song, we start writing today together, here in Prespes. Our goal is the song of joy to be sung for many centuries. In our language and in your language. From our people and your people."

In closing the video, the prime minister speaks again, as in all the videos coming from his office to say, "It was just and it was done".

In detail the accompanying text of the government

"The Greek Government has defended in its entirety all its red lines, all the red lines of our national position, as they has been in the last 20 years.

The Prespes Agreement, which provides for the renaming of FYROM to the Republic of Severna Makedonija, that is to say, in our language the Republic of Northern Macedonia, puts an end the irredentism of their current Constitutional name.

The 140 countries that today recognize our neighbors as Macedonia will now recognize them as "Democracy of Northern Macedonia" as this name will be erga omnes - for all, both abroad and internally.

For the first time, it is predicted that our North Neighbors do not have and can not claim in the future any relation to the ancient Greek culture of Macedonia.

The agreement also provides that the citizenship to be included in the travel documents of our neighbors will not be: Macedonian plain, as it is today, but: Macedonian / Citizen of Northern Macedonia.
Greece will recognize the citizenship of neighboring citizens as "citizens of Northern Macedonia".

The Prespes Agreement is a great diplomatic victory, but also a great historical opportunity. The Greek government has defended in its entirety all its red lines, all the red lines of our national position, as it has been in the last 20 years.

We congratulate not only on our national past, but also on our present and future. A strong Greece, a lighthouse of culture, history and values, a Greek stability pillar in the Balkans, the Eastern Mediterranean, Europe. "
