Nigella Dawson goes wild over Kokoretsi
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
She may be one of the most famous chefs in the world, but to date she had not tasted Kokoretsi in her life. The person in question is none other than Nigella Lawson who just tasted the classic Greek delicacy and ... was "utterly smitten"!
The famous chef a few days ago was in Greece for the wedding of the judge of the British version of Masterchef George Kalombari, of Greek descent, and his beloved Natalie Tricaric in Athens.
The 58-year-old chef seems to have decided to pass by Mykonos, from where she was not only enthralled by the enchanting scenery, but also took pictures of the island and Greek dishes.

Kokoretsi is a dish of Greece and the Balkans consisting of lamb or goat intestines wrapped around seasoned offal, including sweetbreads, hearts, lungs, or kidneys, and typically grilled; a variant consists of chopped innards cooked on a griddle.
