Earthquakes shake Pieria and Ionian

A seismic vibration of 4.4 magnitude on the Richter scale, according to the preliminary automatic register of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Institute (EMSC), was noted on Monday morning at 06:47 in an area of the Prefecture of Pieria.
The focal depth of the earthquake is estimated at 5km.
The exact focus of vibration is located at 29km. north of Katerini and 40 km. west of Thessaloniki. according to the EMSC.
The automatic register of the Geodynamic Institute of the Athens Observatory, which gives the earthquake at 3.8 Richter, with a focal depth of 3 km, and a 29 kilometer focus. north of Katerini.
The US Seismological Review Institute (USGS) gives the earthquake at 4.4 Richter focusing on Aeginio.
A seismic vibration of 4.1 points on the Richter scale was recorded by the seismographs of the four sensors of the National Seismological Network at 07:56 GMT, according to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens.
The earthquake is 273 km west of Athens and the epicenter is located in the marine area 30 km southwest of Zakynthos.
