With the first public screening of the video for the campaign "Oh My Greece! Unlock the Feeling" - the result of collaboration between the Greek National Tourism Organisation and Marketing Greece - visitors to the Greek pavilion at ITB Berlin 2019 on Thursday were urged to "dive in" and live the Greek tourist experience. The presentation of the video was attended by Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura and the head of GNTO's office in Germany, Viki Stroubou.
Talking about GNTO's collaboration with Marketing Greece, Kountoura stressed the importance of cooperation for tourism. She noted that Greece was the only European country with a multitude of islands, which through its national tourism policy had become an attractive year-round destination worldwide, with a focus on the authentic experiences that are the dominant trend worldwide.
Stroubou praised the excellent work done on the video, whose rights have been conceded to GNTO to channel through its broad network.
Marketing Greece CEO Ioanna Dretta expressed satisfaction at the warm reception, flattering comments and universal approval of the company's campaign for Greece, saying that the aim had been to "highlight a strong chain of values that define Greece and which we offer generously to visitors: simplicity, friendliness and freedom. Values that 'unlock' feelings and create unique, unforgettable travel experiences."
"In this important effort, Marketing Greece has the support of the tourism ministry and GNTO," she added.
