Archaeologists in Greece unearthed an intact 1st century BC tomb in the area of Mavropigi in the region of Kozani in West Macedonia.

The news of the find was made public by a statement released by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Kozani.
The statement said the bronze funeral bier was unique for Northern Greece.
The find is considered a unique discovery for the whole of Greece, according to published archaeological data.
