Deputy Defense Minister Alkiviadis Stefanis was appointed coordinator of transportation and relocation of migrant asylum seekers from hotspots to the rest of mainland Greece, the prime minister's press office announced on Wednesday.
The announcement clarified that the coordinator will provide a more efficient collaboration of various ministerial authorities, to help decongest the islands.
