Andreas Mikroutsikos hospitalized in critical condition, days after brother's death

The songwriter and TV presenter Andreas Mikroutsikos, brother of the late Thanos Mikroutsikos, who died a few days ago, is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of the Hippocratic Hospital with pulmonary edema, the cause of which is being investigated.
According to the first information transmitted by AMNA, by the attending physicians, Andrea Mikroutsikos' condition is serious and is undergoing all necessary examinations that are deemed necessary for his treatment. Andreas Mikroutsikos had a serious cardiovascular problem a few days after the death of his brother, music composer Thanos Mikroutsikos.
"Critical but stable condition"
The Athens Hippocrates Hospital has issued a medical statement on Andrea Mikroutsikos' health condition.
"Mr. Andreas Mikroutsikos was taken with an ambulance of the EKAB today 4/1/2020 around 06.30 at the Ippokratio Athens Medical Center with a picture of hypertensive peak, acute pulmonary edema and concomitant cardiopulmonary insufficiency and breathing. He has since been hospitalized at the First University Cardiac Clinic Infarction Unit, in a critical but stable condition. A new announcement will follow after the 24-hour deadline, ”the medical statement said.
