Die Zeit: German neo-Nazis in Imia march
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
According to German Die Zeit newspaper, Franconian neo-Nazis once again traveled to Greece. Activists of the "Free Network Süd" (FNS) participated in the nationalist "Imia march" of the Greek neo-Nazi party "Golden Dawn." Bavarian neo-Nazis can not be delighted enough at this emergence of the neo-Nazi Party itself.
Neo-Nazis belonging to the fellowship umbrella organization "Free Network South" (FNS) traveled during the last week of January to Athens to participate in the "Imia March" organized by Greek neo-Nazi party "Golden Dawn" . In videos that have been posted on the Internet by neo-Nazis, authorities have identified neo-Nazi activists Sascha R., and Frank Z. as the alleged cameraman. Both are active in the FNS and hold leading roles. According to the Zeit the German neo-Nazis visited the German cemetery at Dionysus where dead German soldiers of both world wars are interred.
Golden Dawn claimed on their websites that up to 50,000 people have participated in the so-called " Imia marches." This year's march, according to media reports, was attended by around 3000 “nationalists.”
