Featured FM Dendias says Turkey should solve problems via dialogue based on International Law

Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias on Monday denounced neighboring Turkey for its actions in the Aegean and the eastern Mediterranean sea, while interviewed on StarTV on Monday evening.
He added that Turkey should "realize that the way to solve any problem is to discuss it on the basis of International Law, not with overflights or by violating sovereignty and sovereign rights."

He emphasized that Turkey's actions do not describe a modern state that intends to become a member of the European family, and he referred to the violations of Greek sovereignty by overflights over Greek islands, by searching for oil in the Cypriot EEZ and Cypriot territorial waters, by verbal provocation, noting that all this does not help relations between the two countries.

Asked about talks with Italy and Egypt on setting up an EEZ, he made it clear that these are key priorities for the Greek government.
