Vandals again destroy Syntagma square
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Persons unknown caused extensive damage to the Great Walk of Athens, but also to the facades of businesses in Syntagma square after the incidents that took place yesterday in the area after a march against the bill for regulating demonstrations.
As can be seen in the photos published by INTIME NEWS, strangers vandalized once again by writing slogans on the planters that were placed for the Great Walk at the University, but also on the facades and walls of the main hotels of Syntagma. Unknown people caused damage even on stairs, apparently trying to remove pieces of marble.
It is recalled that the Great Walk of Athens had fallen victim to riots and against the bill for the demonstrations last Tuesday.
As then, so in the case of the latest vandalism, work has begun to repair the damage to the sidewalks and the facades of the hotels.
