Mitsotakis new covid message to holiday makers
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, sent a new message via twitter, asking young men and women to show responsibility when they return from the summer holidays, putting a "brake" on the coronavirus pandemic.
"You may have defied the protection measures for a while and forgotten about the coronavirus. But make the difference even now: do not be responsible for the next case. "After returning, we pay double attention and stop the spreading here: we share memories, not the virus," the prime minister said in a post accompanied by a one-minute video.
A little later, the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management retweeted the Prime Minister's post, writing: "Our young people will make a difference now! "We share memories, not the virus."
Sampling tests in the ports of Piraeus and Rafina
The eyes of the experts are already turned to next week, where a large number of tourists from August are expected to return, from whose behavior the course of the virus in Greece will be largely judged. For this reason, since morning, the Attica Region has been conducting sample tests on travelers returning from holidays, in the ports of Piraeus and Rafina.
