In a three-day treat for car lovers in Greece, 30 cars owned by the popular Italian Ferrari club Passione Rossa will arrive for the Ferrari Road Show being in Piraeus for the first time from Friday until Sunday, where they can be admired at close quarters.

They include unique Ferrari models, such as the Enzo, Portofino, 360 Modena, California T, 458 Speciale, Mondial and 355 F1, which are coming as part of the free "Days of the Sea" events organised by the City of Piraeus for the past seven years.

According to Piraeus Mayor Yiannis Moralis, the event aims to put Piraeus on the map as a tourist destination for motor sports, among others, while 30 lucky visitors will be given a unique opportunity to ride in one of the luxury Italian vehicles.

"Continuing efforts for the tourism promotion of our city, we gladly welcome in our city the specific Ferrari club, which is one of the most popular in the world, with fans that follow its activities and events religiously. For three days, Piraeus will become a pole of attraction for lovers of motor sports and all those that want to see these unique cars at close hand. At the same time, we have an opportunity to showcase and promote the sites of our city, its beauty spots and particular characteristics, both in Greece and abroad," Moralis said.

The president of Ferrari Club Passione Rossa, Fabio Barone, said the club was looking forward to visiting Piraeus and offering everyone a chance to admire and get to know the "most important Ferrari Club in the world", noting that it was a great opportunity that brought together two important brands, Piraeus and Ferrari, to work closely and put on a great event.

In addition to the Ferrari Club, the 'Days of the Seas' programme features a number of events exhibitions, concerts, lectures and other activities taking place from September 17 until September 26 in Greece's largest port, including several events marking the bicentennial since the 1821 Greek Revolution that created the modern Greek state.
