Greek-American defense agreement submitted to the Parliament

The submission of the new five-year Greek-American defense agreement has now been officially submitted to the Parliament by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Among other things, the new agreement (MTCA), which will last for five years, will secure the presence of the Americans in areas such as Larissa, Stefanovikio, Alexandroupolis and Souda.
According to the planning of the Parliament, the defense agreement is expected to be discussed in the competent parliamentary committee next Tuesday and will be put for discussion and voting in the Plenary on Thursday. It is noted that there will be three rounds of speakers and it is possible that the political leaders will also be speaking.
