"The punishment of the guilty remains a debt of honor for the State", emphasizes Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his post, on the occasion of the completion of 13 years today since the tragedy at the Marfin bank on Stadiou Street, where three people had lost their lives after a fire bomb attack by self-styled anarchists.
"We go back only to remember and learn," says the prime minister, who accompanies his post with a black and white photo from the day of the tragedy, the names of the victims and the slogan "Never again."
"We go back only to remember and learn"
In detail, Kyriakos Mitsotakis wrote:
"Thirteen years since the brutal murders of innocents in Marfin. Paraskevi Zoulia, Epaminondas Tsakalis and the pregnant Angeliki Papathanasopoulou. We do not forget the fellow citizens we lost. And the punishment of the guilty remains a duty of honor for the State. Closing, every day, the door to division, hatred and political hypocrisy. We go back only to remember and learn. So let's move forward together. For the Greece we want and deserve".
