Afghan 18-year old attmpts to rape 8-year old Syrian girl in migrant center

An 8-year-old girl from Syria, lived through nightmarish moments on Friday (15/3) at the Reception and Identification Center of Kos, when an 18-year-old man tried to rape her in the toilets.
Fortunately, the minor, despite the terror she experienced, found the strength to call for help and started shouting, causing the 18-year-old Afghan assailant to get scared and run away.
According to kosnews24.gr, everything happened when the 18-year-old entered the women's toilets where the child was and after hitting her in the stomach and head, tried to pull down the 8-year-old's pants to rape her.
A few hours later, police officers arrested the 18-year-old assailant, who, according to the same source, was also recognized by the minor.
A case file was filed against the arrested person for attempted rape of a minor and he was taken to the District Court.
