NBA legend Dominique Wilkins returned to Greece for the NBA Basketball School in Costa Navarino

On Sunday, June 23, an event was held for guests of Costa Navarino with the participation of Dominique Wilkins, in which children and teenagers had the exclusive opportunity to train on the court under the guidance of the top player and practice techniques and ways of playing basketball. At the same time, young and old received autographs and discussed with Wilkins about his path in basketball.

It is important to tap into children's skills from an early age and help them nurture their love of basketball through teaching and learning skills. I am very happy to work with NBA Basketball Schools and to visit Costa Navarino for the first time", said Dominique Wilkins during his visit.

The NBA Basketball School summer run runs through September 15, with a dynamic program for aspiring players of all ages. Also, through August 17, participants have the opportunity to learn the secrets of the sport from former NBA player and No. 1 NBA draft pick Michael Bradley, who directs the summer program.

The NBA Basketball School in Costa Navarino is the NBA's first collaboration with a tourist destination in Europe and is aimed at children and teenagers aged 6-18 as well as adults. Young players can choose between 3- to 7-day programs, while adults participate in daily hour-long training sessions. All players will receive an NBA T-shirt upon registration, while those who attend the full program (6 or 7 days) will receive a certificate of participation from the NBA Basketball School and a gift from the NBA.
