Cyberattack on the Hellenic Cadastre
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
A cyberattack has been attempted on the information systems of the Hellenic Cadastre.
According to a statement by Ministry of Digital Governance from the first moment all relevant state bodies, as well as a team of experts, have been mobilized to deal with such crises.
Actions that have been taken so far are ongoing and aim to isolate networks and systems to block any access by malicious users or software.
From experts' analysis so far, it turns out that the attack has not achieved its goal on any critical infrastructure and all digital services remain active. As stated in the announcement, action to counter the attack continues until it is finally prevented. New information will be provided.
