Four HAF F-16s take to Indian skies for multinational exercise “Tarang Shakti 24”

With 4 F-16 Block 52+ Advanced aircraft and personnel of 336 Squadron from 116 Fighter Wing, which was transported to India in 2 C-130 aircraft, the Hellenic Air Force (HAF) is participating in the multi-national air exercise “Tarang Shakti 24”, which is being conducted at Jodhpur Air Base, India, till September 14.
This follows the acceptance of the request for its participation in the exercise by the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS), Lieutenant General Demosthenes Grigoriadis, following the acceptance of the request of the General Staff by the Indian Air Force for its participation for the first time in the exercise “HNIOCHOS 23” with Su-30 aircraft.
The purpose of the exercise is to enable the participants to work together in a challenging multilateral environment, with the aim of enhancing interoperability through the exchange of experience and expertise.
