Handcuffs on two Palestinians and an Egyptian in Agios Panteleimonas - They had an axe, crowbars and a sword
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Two Palestinians and an Egyptian were arrested last Tuesday (25/3) by DIAS police officers in Agios Panteleimonas for illegal possession of weapons and robbery.
According to information, the first two were in possession of a crowbar, an axe and a paper cutter, while the third - who was also arrested for robbery - was in possession of a khatzar and, at the time of the arrest, was in a furious state.
In fact, it is worth noting that, with regard to the last arrested person, he had previously concerned the authorities when he had held his Bulgarian partner hostage and threatened to blow up an apartment building with a gas cylinder.
The incident occurred in January 2022 and, as the victim testified at the time, the man beat her, kidnapped her and held her hostage, broadcasting the moments to his friends via Facebook.
The perpetrator constantly shouted "I will kill you all, I will blow up everything" even when the police broke down the door and entered his apartment on Alkiviadou Street.
Eventually the Egyptian was arrested and the LPG cylinder was also located, while he was now outside under restrictive conditions.
