Irene Mourtzoukou confessed to the murders of 3 infants and her sister

According to the same information, she also confessed to killing her sister in February 2014.

It is recalled that Irene Mourtzoukou was arrested two days ago for the murders of her two children, who died in June 2022 and October 2023, of her friend's son who died in February 2021 and an attempted murder of her friend.

After several months during which Irene Mourtzoukou played theater, wandering around the canals, moving freely, denying everything, she admitted to her heinous acts, namely the murder of three infants and her sister.

“I wanted to get them out of my head, when I was fighting with my mother I wanted to do harm,” she allegedly said.

A few hours after her arrest on a warrant for the three murders and an attempt (of her friend), Irene Mourtzoukou admitted everything to the Homicide Division, everything she is accused of, but also to the murder of her little sister in 2014. The little girl, her sister, was 1.5 years old at the time.

The tangle of the case and the heinous actions of Bourtzoukos, who killed infants while going unnoticed, began to be revealed last August, after the death of her friend's son, little Panagiotakis, a death for which she has not been officially charged and for which she herself has not confessed.

A common denominator in all the death cases that slowly began to be revealed by putting the pieces of the puzzle in order was the presence of Mourtzoukos, a fact that aroused suspicions and the investigation of the case began. Two days ago, after the completion of the investigation, the findings of the scientists and the more than 80 testimonies, Mourtzoukos was arrested with an arrest warrant shockingly describing her actions.

One of the most chilling points is the fact that she repeatedly tried to kill her own second child. Specifically, according to information, the arrest warrant states that Irini Mourtzoukou attempted 4 times within a few days to murder her few-day-old infant. She finally murdered him on October 17, 2023. She also seems to have shown an obsession with killing her friend Katerina's child, as she had attempted to murder him in December 2020 at the hospital where the infant was being treated, an act she finally carried out in February 2021.

The arrest warrant mentions her repeated and ruthless actions, manifested with coldness and apathy, as well as a complete lack of respect for the supreme good of life.
