Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will address the 80th session of the UN General Assembly this afternoon (18:45 local time), concluding his presence in New York.

In his speech, the Prime Minister is expected to refer to the fluid international and regional geopolitical environment that is taking shape, Greece’s position as a pillar of stability within it, as well as the challenges and risks from Ukraine to the Middle East.

It is noted that a few hours before the speech at the UN, Mitsotakis will meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

Meeting with the president of the F-35 and F-16 manufacturer
Yesterday, Thursday, the Greek Prime Minister met with Lockheed Martin Chairman Michael Williamson and ExxonMobil Vice Chairman John Ardill as part of his contacts in the US.

According to government sources, the meeting with the President of Lockheed Martin confirmed excellent cooperation and smooth progress on both the F-16 and F-35 upgrade programs.

At the same time, energy cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean was discussed at the meeting with the Vice President of Exxon Mobil.
