Mitsotakis-Macron telephone conversation: They agreed to be in coordination, discussed Iran, Cyprus, Lebanon

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis recently had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
During their conversation, the latest developments in Iran, Cyprus and Lebanon were discussed.
The Prime Minister informed Mr. Macron about the defense assistance that Greece provides to Cyprus.
The two leaders agreed to be in contact and coordinate on developments in the wider region.
Macron and Meloni in contact
Diplomatic sources in Paris reported that “in a spirit of European solidarity” French President Emmanuel Macron took the initiative this morning to communicate successively with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
According to the same sources, the three leaders agreed to coordinate their actions regarding the deployment of military assets to Cyprus and the eastern Mediterranean and to work together to ensure freedom of navigation in the Red Sea.
