- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The bodies of the two victims were discovered on Tuesday afternoon in Longos, Aigio.
According to initial reports, both victims had injuries caused by a sharp object, most likely a knife.
Police authorities are examining all possibilities, and as part of the investigation, the 65-year-old Italian partner of the 54-year-old woman is being questioned, as he is considered a suspect in the case.
However, he denies having killed them. According to what he reportedly told authorities, he woke up and found them dead inside the house. He also claims that he then informed the police through a neighbor, requesting help.
It is noted that the 65-year-old is not the biological father of the 26-year-old, while further details about the circumstances of the crime have not yet been released. The Hellenic Police investigation is ongoing.
