Acropolis museum celebrates 25th March

The new Acropolis Museum will be open on Tuesday 25 March from 09.00 am to 17.00 pm, free of charge, celebrating National Independence Day with presentations about the Parthenon.
The new Acropolis Museum will be open on Tuesday 25 March from 09.00 am to 17.00 pm, free of charge, celebrating National Independence Day with presentations about the Parthenon.
The Parthenon, a unique world cultural heritage site that has fascinated visitors for countless centuries will be the focus of discussions between visitors and museum archaeologists and curators. Visitors will have the chance to find out about issues of the monument's decoration, architecture, symbolism, and history.
Presentations will be in Greek at 12.00 noon and 13.00 pm, and in English and French at 11.00 am, presentations will last 50 minutes and will have a limit of 30 persons.
During the day the second floor restaurant will be serving “Traditional Greek Dishes.”
