Santorini Firecracker Explosion Injures Five
A firecracker exploded during Saturday evening's Resurrection service on Santorini, resulting in the hospitalization of one woman.
The American visitor is currently being treated at Heraklio's Venizelion Hospital in the intensive care unit, and is undergoing abdominal surgery. Four others were also injured, including two Greeks and two Cypriots. Two suspects have been arrested for igniting the explosion, and are being sent to the Naxos courts.
