Interior Minister Files Formal Voting Procedure Grievance
Yesterday, Greek Interior Minister Yiannis Michelakis filed a formal grievance to the Polling and Marketing Companies Association President.
His complaints regard the large divide between the final voting count and exit poll results. In written form, discussing Sunday's local government election, Michelakis penned: "...this happens in Greece for the first time" and ended in "creating entirely unsubstantiated impressions and in confusing public opinion during the last phase of the voting process", as reported by ANA-MPA. The Interior Minister referred to the Association's code of ethics, while calling on the auditing agencies and their superiors.
