Education Minister Offers University Staff Comments
Greece's Education Minister Andreas Loverdos stated today that university administrative staff will not be let go, prior to an evaluation process of the educational institutions data.
Loverdos stated to Alpha 9.89: "There was a political issue which was concluded in the best possible way. We succeeded in opening 600 administrative positions. Moreover, we managed to proceed with the evaluation of the organisational charts of eight universities, so that more hirings may be possible after the completion of the evaluation process. There will be no dismissals until this procedure is completed. I think this is a very good choice," as reported by ANA-MPA.
